Just stopped in to have a little show and tell. I just picked these things up the other day while out thrifting. I just love the funky owl wall pocket. He makes for the cutest pencil cup. The spanish flash card will be re-purposed into some sort of project I'm sure, but I love the box. Last, is the Uncle William book-I had to get this, not only because the colors are awesome, and I love old books, but my husband's name is William, and I just can't resist anything vintage with our names on it.:-)
Thanks for sharing in my show and tell. I have been super-crazy busy lately, and haven't had much computer time. I have an event coming up soon, it's one that I participate in every year, it tends to eat up a lot of my extra time, but sooo fun! I hope to share some pictures of the projects I have been working on for it, very soon. Stay tuned.;-)
A quick little post about some cute, recently thrifted treasures. I am quite smitten with these adorable shell-art boxes. I picked them up at Goodwill for around 2 bucks a piece. I keep hoping someday I will come across a large victorian shell-art piece. In the mean time, I am quite happy with these little treasures.
Here are some vintage shell goodies I found over on etsy.
This morning I was sitting at my table planning out my week, and looking for some inspiration in a few books and magazines. I love quiet mornings, with my coffee and some beautiful things to look at.
What I really need to do is put up our Halloween/Fall decorations. I have been trying for the past couple of days to get out all of our stuff, I just hope to finally succeed in doing so today. I've got The Temper Trap(I love these guys!) on, nice and loud, and I am in a very happy mood, especially for a Monday.(~.~)
Have a look and a listen. I just love his falsetto, it's so beautiful and such a great video, too. I think they have three different versions for this song. I like this one the best.
